Thursday 26th September – full day
Friday 27th September – full day
October 3rd, 4th, 10th, 17th, 18th, 22nd, 23rd, 24th and 25th.

About the Practice
We are recruiting on behalf of our client, an award-winning teaching partnership based in North London.
The well-established, well-regarded practice has been serving patients in the community for nearly 35 years with a list of ~13,000 patients.
The practice is located close to zone 2 Piccadilly line underground station. It offers a friendly and supportive working environment. The practice uses EMIS and has a full multi-disciplinary team that already includes physician associates and includes GP partners, salaried GP's, clinical pharmacist, practice nurses, physio, paramedic, social prescriber and MHP as well as a full complement of admin and back-office staff.
About the Role
You will be responsible for providing practice nursing services as part of the multidisciplinary team. You will provide care within your scope of practice to our patients, managing a variety of clinical areas, such as health promotion and chronic disease management. Your role will include, amongst other responsibilities:
· Providing consultations to patients at the practice.
- Accurately diagnosing illnesses and providing correct treatments
- Providing health advice to their patients regarding their health conditions, as well as advice about fitness or diet according to government guidelines;
- Administering vaccinations and immunisations to patients of all ages;
- Keeping patient records up to date
- Checking a patient’s temperature, pulse and blood pressure correctly;
- Working alongside and communicating regularly with practice GPs, nurses, pharmacists and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements
- Registered under the NMC
- Strong communication skills, IT proficiency, effective time management, and the ability to work well within a team.
- At least 12months of experience working within the primary care environment
